They evolve. The children enter a staged setting with blocks, musical instruments, toys, etc. Once the children have settled in, she suggests by her mere presence (really, you have to see it) that it might be fun to…sing a song…or do a project…or play a game. She has the uncanny ability to sense when and how to flow into the next activity. Jan’s magical ability to deftly harness a roomful of toddler kinetic energy is something to behold. And I should also mention that we both LOVE coming home from work and having our son hand us a piece of artwork and say, “Here, Mom [or Dad], I made this for YOU!” It’s just priceless. In 2004, I enrolled my two-year-old daughter in Toddlers in Motion’s “Stepping Stones” class to prepare her for preschool. Although this entailed a 20 minute drive, I had heard about the program from two different moms and it sounded great. The program far exceeded my expectations and I’ve been making the drive for anywhere from 1 to 3 classes a week ever since! The teachers are wonderful and the children get to have fun, learn, be creative, be active and learn appropriate social skills all at the same time! I couldn’t imagine raising my children without this wonderful program.

Planning a birthday party for your child? Toddlers in Motion at 28 Glen Road, Rutherford under the friendly direction of Miss Jan, Miss Barbara and Miss Janine is a wonderful choice. My son has celebrated 2 birthdays there so far. Each child’s birthday celebration is organized around a personalized theme that includes an arts & crafts project and fun-filled activities. The spacious facility is safe and secure with plenty of seating for the parents to sit and relax as their children are entertained for 2 hours. The party is well-designed and executed as one activity flows into the next , keeping the children engaged and having a great time. Everyone leaves happy. My wife and I highly recommend Toddlers in Motion for classes and parties.
